About Us

First, is the church or ministry who is already established as a state-chartered, I.R.S. recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. These ministries are not seeking legal covering, consequently, they are not required to make themselves accountable to Inter-Faith Convention with financial statements or reports. Their primary concern is to promote fellowship and to avail themselves of all of the other services provided to members. We refer to this level of membership as "Associate Member".

Our purpose is to elicit, combine and direct the talents and energies of Christian ministries in order to reach our world with the gospel of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Inter-Faith Baptist Convention provides a spiritual, ecclesiastical and a legal covering for independent churches and ministries. and Qualifying, credentialing and licensing of ministers, and certification of teachers and ministry staff.

There are two separate classifications of membership available to churches and ministries who desire to become affiliated with Inter-Faith Baptist Convention:

The second level of membership is referred to as an "Affiliate Member" This is the church or ministry who is seeking not only fellowship and spiritual accountability, but also a legal covering and a tax-exempt status. On this level, Inter-Faith must require at least minimal annual reporting in order to remain credible and accountable in its function as a ministry.
